Sale Tags
Setting |
Description |
Show sale tags |
Select this and any discounted product, i.e. any product with a sale price, will display a sale tag. Please note due to the way BigCommerce currently generates product prices, sale tags will appear on any discounted product, including ones in customer groups with discounts applied. |
Show percentage saving on sale tags |
Choose to show the percentage saved inside the sale tag. These labels will only display if "Show sale tags" is selected. Please note that the percentage calculation is an approximation and may occasionally be out by 1% due to rounding and tax rules. If it’s essential to show accurate discounts, we recommend turning this option off. |

Select the color of the text on the sale badges. |
Sale tag background color |
Select the background color of the sale badges. |
Sale tag background hover color |
Select the background color that appears when the cursor hovers over the sale badges. |

Show custom labels |
Store owners can attach a custom label to products listed in the category grid by setting up a custom field on a product with the label Promotion Label . For more information about setting up custom fields on products, see this BigCommerce support article: Custom Fields. To speed up the process of displaying information through products' custom fields, you may find it easier to import Custom Fields, rather than entering all of the information through the Control Panel. This BigCommerce Article explains how to import Custom Fields: Importing Custom Fields. |
