Newsletter Popup (Brick Lane)
Learn how to configure the Newsletter Popup module in this section. In your control panel, go to Storefront > Themes, and click the blue "Customize" button to launch Theme Editor. In the left hand column of the Theme Editor, click the panel labelled 'Newsletter Popup'.
| Setting | Description |
| Enable the newsletter popup module | Select this to add a simple newsletter popup that can be configured to prompt store visitors to join the mailing list. Once a visitor submits an email address, the module will set a cookie to prevent itself from appearing again for 999 days. |
| Header image (upload via Image Manager) | You can set up an image to display on the popup by following these steps. Ideally upload a 16:9 (landscape) aspect ratio image. |
| WebDAV header image | Alternatively, you can add up an image using WebDav. Please note this is currently the only way of uploading an SVG in the theme editor. |
| Popup delay | Change this setting to determine how long a visitor must stay on a page before the popup appears. |
| If dismissed, show again after... | Change the field 'If dismissed, show again after...' to set how many days a visitor must wait before seeing the box again after dismissing it with the close button. |
| Popup title | Enter a title. If one isn't entered the default title ("Subscribe to our newsletter") will be shown instead. |
| Popup intro text | Enter the text you want to describe your promotion. If one isn't entered the default text ("Get the latest updates on new products and upcoming sales") will be shown instead. Keep in mind that these fields override the theme language files. If you are creating a multi language site, you can edit the strings directly in the translation files. |
| Popup background color | Choose the background color for the popup. |
| Popup text color | Choose the color of the text on the popup. |
| Popup close icon color | Choose the close icon color. Try and complement the other colors on the popup. |
